Kwikset® recently launched its 2010 “Smart” media campaign which includes online advertising, print ads in both consumer and trade publications, and a :30 TV spot that can be seen through September on HGTV, DIY, TLC and This Old House. The campaign is designed to connect DIYers with the Kwikset “smart” message and continue to drive awareness and education around SmartKey® re-key technology. SmartKey is highly secure, affordable and a smart and simple solution to home security needs.
In addition to traditional media, Kwikset launched their first-ever, national “LiveSmart” Sweepstakes and Mobile Tour. The Sweepstakes will show how simple and easy “smart” home security can be, while giving away valuable prizes to make living smart easier than ever. Until Nov. 1, entrants will have the chance to win one of a series of smart home giveaway packages, worth between $700 to $24,000, that will include Kwikset SmartKey products, along with other smart products for their home. The grand prize is a Smart Car: smart fortwo coupe.
The LiveSmart Mobile Tour kicked off in Boston and will make its way westward, setting up at various home improvement retailers across the country, before coming to a final stop the weekend of Oct. 8 in Fontana, CA at the NASCAR races. The 60 plus events across the country, in addition to driving Kwikset awareness, will give Kwikset the opportunity to connect with their customers and show them firsthand how smart, simple and secure their products are.
